Lumina started drawing since a very early age and it has become an integral part of her life. Drawing comes as easily as breathing for her and it is a way for her to express herself since she is often very shy. Even so, when people see her artwork, they see her earnest in what she does and the honesty in which she portrays her works.
She is inspired by everything and draws wherever and whenever she can. Even when she is bored, she doodles wherever she can make marks on. (You should see her desk and the margins of her papers!)
Her style focuses mainly on manga but she is very versatile and can also do semi-realism, still lifes, calligraphy paintings and more.
She hopes to someday make a full career out of her artwork and let everyone know she exists through art. Currently she is working on a manga project which she wishes to publish in the near future.
Some artists that inspire her are Katsura Hoshino, Kazue Kato, and Takeshi Obata for their revolutionary styles in manga. Action artists that inspire her are Masashi Kishimoto, his brother, Seishi Kishimoto, Tite Kubo, and Yoshihiro Togashi.
On the side, she also pursues music. She enjoys playing the piano and making song covers. In her free time, she also writes cell-phone novels and short stories of which she also wishes to have published someday.
Her personality is somewhat quirky and is accompanied by an odd sense of humor. However, she gets along as best she can and finds friends in the oddest of places. She loves making new friends and learning new things~
On top of illustrating, Lumi also writes poetry and cell-phone novels in her spare time. Some of these are available publicly for you to read.
